Mint Payments Limited
The Australian Business Award for Business Innovation recognises organisations that execute business initiatives which demonstrate innovative solutions for new and existing business needs.
In November 2014, as part of a strategic review, the company embarked on expanding its core CP mobile payment solution on the Mint Payments platform to include “Card Not Present” (CNP) payment processing services. This would effectively transform Mint Payments into a single payments acceptance provider to businesses servicing customers across multiple markets through physical and online channels. With the launch of the company’s CNP product “Minternet” in April 2015, Mint Payments became a omni-channel payments provider in Australia.
Mint understood that its customers wanted to get paid fast, without headaches or complicated set-ups whilst also benefitting from a secure system. As a result, Mint conducted an internal company audit to see if its operation and infrastructure could support an omni-channel payments method that would provide customers with what they wanted. After establishing this capability Mint began reforming their processes, securing relevant certifications for its mPOS solution and forming key distribution partnerships. The end result was a system that was designed to seamlessly integrate partners’ applications and vertical expertise with Mint’s payment capability, providing a streamlined payment experience for customers.
Mint Payments Ltd. have been awarded with a Business Innovation Award in the Australian Business Awards 2016 for their development and implementation of an omni-channel payment solution.
